Recommendation for Overclocking test :

1. Using a high quality CPU Cooling FAN is suggested. Better CPU Cooling Solution should be very helpful for Overclocking. It is recommended to use Black edition Athlonx2 5000+ or 5400+.

2. High Quality Memory Module can also be a factor that infects the Overclocking performance.

Overclocking is an optional process, but not a "must-do" process; it is not recommended for inexperienced users. Therefore, we will not be responsible for any hardware damage which may be caused by overclocking. We also would not guarantee any overclocking performance.

> In BIOS boot screen (POST), press DEL to enter BIOS Setup Utility.
> Go to the Advanced menu and enter CPU Configuration; set the item "Cool N Quiet" to Disabled.

> Go to the Chipset menu and enter AMD 790GX Configuration.

> Enter Internal Graphics Configuration and choose "UMA" from Internal Graphics Mode

* The UMA mode Allocates memory for the onboard graphics controller from the system memory.

> Go to the T-series menu, and there are 3 modes for Overclocking:

Normal Mode
Automate Overclock Mode
Manual Overclock Mode

> 3 kinds of OC mode are preset under Automate Overclock Mode.

> V6/V8/V12 is for different Overclocking performance in Biostar Tuning.

> Manual Overclock Mode allows Overclockers doing OC step by step.
> CPU/HT reference Clock (MHz) allows selecting CPU Overclock from 100MHz to 600MHz
> CPU configuration allows selecting different CPU configuration from Configure 1 to Configure 7
> CPU Enter CPU FID/VID control; set "Custom P-States" to Enabled

> Set Core FID to 6.5X or 7.5X

Note: Core FID Items will be changed with different CPU

> Enter Voltage configuration for setting CPU Over Voltage / Memory Over Voltage / Chipset Over Voltage / HT Over Voltage / SidePort Votlage

* Auto lets BIOS automatically set the system voltages as required. Manual allows all voltage control items below to be configurable.

> CPU Over Voltage: from StartUp to +0.787V
> Memory Over Voltage: from 1.9V to 2.6V

> Chipset Over Voltage: from 1.2V to 1.5V

> HT Over Voltage: from 1.2V to 1.5V

> Side Port Voltage: 1.8V or Follow DDR Voltage

* This item allows you to set the SidePort memory voltage.

> Enter Dram Timing Configuration for setting Memory Clock Mode & DRAM Timing Mode

> Enter Memory Clock Mode and choose Manual, there are 5 kinds of DDR2 frequency for extreme DDR2 memory performance.

Ex.:
200MHz (DDR2-400)
266MHz (DDR2-533)
333MHz (DDR2-667)
400MHz (DDR2-800)
533MHz (DDR2-1066)

Note: DDR2-1066 is available while using AM2+ CPU.

> Enter DRAM Timing Mode and choose Both; there are several DRAM timing adjustable:

CAS Latency(CL): Auto, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 CLK
2T Command: Auto, 1T, 2T
TRCD: Auto, 3, 4, 5, 6 CLK
