Recommended configuration for GPU overclocking and benchmark :

CPU : use Phenom x4 CPU for better CPU score
Memory: 2GB Dual-channel DDR2-1066 is recommended
OS: Vista is the best operation system for 790GX
BIOS Verison : 78DBA0806f

Overclocking is an optional process, but not a "must-do" process; it is not recommended for inexperienced users. Therefore, we will not be responsible for any hardware damage which may be caused by overclocking. We also would not guarantee any overclocking performance.

> In BIOS boot screen (POST), press DEL to enter BIOS Setup Utility.
> Go to the Chipset menu , then enter the AMD 790GX Configuration

> Selected the Internal Graphics Configuration for Integrated HD3300 GPU overclocking

> 4 selection items :

1. Disable : Disable on board Graphics Controller
2. UMA : Allocated memory buffer for on board graphics controller from system memory
3. SidePort : Allocated memory for on board graphics from on board memory buffer
4. UMA+ SIDEPORT : Allocates memory for the onboard graphics controller from the system memory and SidePort memory. Recommend set up at this selection.

> Recommend UMA Frame Buffer Size set up @ 256MB

* UMA Frame Buffer means on board Graphics share memory.

> To reach our target performance , we will strongly recommend set SIDEPORT Clock speed set @ 533MHz

* SIDEPORT clock set @ 533MHz means it will running at 1066MHz (DDR2)

> Selected the T-Series Manu , then enter OverClock Navigator, and select Manual OverClock for overclocking manually setting
> This section allows you to set the Motherboard DDR2 Voltage
> Select the Memory Over Voltage item and setup @ 2.2V for target performance.
> This item allow you setup the Chipset Over Voltage , we recommended you setup @ 1.5V for target performance.

> This item allows you setup the Side Port Voltage. setup at "Follow DDR Voltage" to raise the Voltage.

Note: when this item is enabled, the Sideport Voltage is synchronal with DDR2 Memory

> DRAM Timing Configuration allows DDR2 Timing items
> Manual item allows setup each DRAM Timing item manually

> Set up Mem Clock Value and choose at 533MHz

Note: With AMD Athlon / Sempron CPU, 533MHz is not available.

> Set GFX Engine Clock Override and choose Enabled

* This item Allows you to manually set the VGA Core clock. The adjustable range is from 150 MHz to 1500 MHz. This item is configurable only if the VGA Core Clock control option is enabled.

> Enter GFX Engine Clock and choose 950

> This setting is enable the Sideport memory and raise the on board Graphics Controller to 950MHz. Around 7~8% 3D performance up than default one.
